Tally and her dragon, Sheath, have been flying in the arena for years, but they've never stayed on one team for more than a season. Her persona has gone through multiple PR reworks over the years. She's the bane of her managers' existence. She's snide and obnoxious and intentionally veers off-script. She mocks interviewers and trash-talks other riders. She's hugely unpopular backstage.

Unfortunately, this makes her massively interesting to the audience. Her abrasive personality is fresh and different, and causes tons of drama, which creates gossip. And, god help the marketing team, but gossip gets clicks. Drama sells tickets, and keeps the attention of the public. Tally's smart mouth might keep them on their toes, but now that she's been placed as captain of the "villain"team this season, she's finally proving her value as a celebrity commodity.

And of course, if she ever gets too out of hand, they'll just have to arrange some sort of accident. Tally knows where the line is, and she knows not to cross it. She's tried once before. She barely survived.
